Kräutler electric motors have been produced since the 80s. Kräutler Elektromaschinen GmbH is located in Lustenau, Austria, and produces electric industrial and boat motors at this site.
Kräutler's electric boat drives are characterized above all by very high quality and robust workmanship and belong to the premium segment. Furthermore, Kräutler has one of the largest ranges in the area of electric boat drives with a power range from 0.5 kW to 120 kW.
Apart from bow-mount trolling motors, Kräutler manufactures all known types of motors, including pod motors and sail drives. Basically, a boat engine from Kräutler always consists of several components optimally matched to each other: Motor, control unit, single-lever circuit, battery main switch and battery monitor.
There is a clear separation of motor and electronics and thus reduces the susceptibility to failure. We recommend that the system be installed by a specialist. Kräutler has built up a large network of specialized boat builders for this purpose.
